To answer your question, you should try to book you park sleep fly package as soon as you know what flight you’re on and the time it leaves. This way you will know where you are going when you head to the airport, and be assured of a room and place to park.

When you book a park sleep fly package, you may be required to park your car in a special section of the parking lot. The volatility of airport hotel properties as far as room availability goes can change at any minute. You see, there is service that is provided for the airlines that guarantees them so many rooms per night for distressed passengers.
Almost every night there are distressed passengers who could not get on their flights because of overbooking, and weather related problems.
It’s not uncommon for 100 rooms to be gone in the blink of an eye. This happens every night, at almost all of the airport hotels.
Its no wonder the airlines are losing money faster than they can make it.

Phila., Pa. – PHL – All Flights Cancelled until Further Notice because of the Blizzard

All flights in and out of Philadelphia International Airport are cancelled today. If you have tickets already, call your travel agent, or call th e airline before you go to the airport. If you have a park sleep fly package booked, calll your hotel to change your reservation as they will be working with limited resources as well.

As of 2pm the state has shut down the Blue Route (I-476) , the Schyukill Expressway (I-76), and the Vine Street Expressway (I-676).

The roads are getting bad so if you don’t have to go out, don’t. Cars are getting stuck everywhere, even on major roads like Route 1 there have been reports of spin outs and accidents.

As of 5pm Septa is cancelling all surface bus service until further notice. So if you’re scheduled to work tonight, call your employer before heading out.

All Philadelphia Public and Parochial Schools will be closed on Thursday, 2/11 because of the storm. If you live in another school district, stay tuned to KYW news radio, 1060 on your AM dial or 94.1 HD-2 on your hd radio.

DFW Airport Off Site Parking

Parking at DFW airport doesn’t have to be a drain on your budget.

Doing a little research, I found out you can park at a DFW airport hotel for less than $10 a day.

This is much less than you would pay at the airport, and you get to appreciate the services of the hotel you park at for one night, either before or after your flight.

When we first arrived at the hotel, I was a little apprehensive about the location. But once we entered we were very impressed with the facility. Check-in was very efficient and informative. We were especially pleased on our return to have our car drive up to the van so our luggage could be easily loaded into our trunk. I am recommending the hotel to others because of our experience.
